Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to both the website pulsatics.com and the mobile app Storra (iOS & Android) by Pulsatics.

1. Controller

2. Overview

Storra's core features — Compress, Swiper and Cleaner — process your photos and videos exclusively on your device. Your media files are never uploaded to servers operated by Pulsatics or any third party. To operate and improve the app, we additionally use the analytics and crash-reporting services described below, which have no access to your media files.

3. This website (pulsatics.com)

This website itself does not use cookies. When you visit the site, our hosting provider Cloudflare, Inc. automatically processes technical access data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser used) in server log files. This processing is technically necessary for the secure and stable operation of the website and is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Details on Cloudflare's processing can be found inCloudflare's privacy policy.

We additionally use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service that produces anonymized, aggregated statistics (e.g. page views, approximate origin, browser type). Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set cookies, does not store persistent identifiers, and does not create individual user profiles — it cannot be used to identify you personally. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving how our website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More information is available in theCloudflare Web Analytics documentation.

4. The Storra app

Within the Storra app, we use services provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (or Google LLC, USA, for group companies outside the EU) as part of Firebase.

4.1 Firebase Crashlytics

Crashlytics automatically generates crash reports when the app terminates unexpectedly or an error occurs. This processes data including: crash logs (stack traces), device model, operating system version, app version, a randomly generated installation ID, and coarse, approximate location data (based on IP address, no precise location tracking). This data contains no photos, videos, or other media files. Processing serves to detect errors and improve app stability (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Sec. 25 of the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act, TTDSG), where the app asks for it on first launch.

4.2 Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics collects anonymized or pseudonymized usage events (e.g. which features are used and how often), device and app information, and a random installation ID. This data is not linked to your name, email address, or media files. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Sec. 25 TTDSG), which you can grant or decline on first launch and withdraw at any time with future effect in the app settings.

4.3 Recipients and international transfers

The recipient of the data described above is Google (Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC). A transfer to the United States cannot be ruled out when using Google services. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is intended to ensure an adequate level of data protection. 4.4 Retention period

Firebase Analytics data is stored for 14 months by default and then automatically deleted. Crashlytics crash reports are retained for as long as needed for error analysis, typically up to 90 days.

We update this privacy policy whenever changes to the website, the app, or legal requirements make it necessary. The version published on this page at any given time applies.
